TV Mounting F.A.Q.
On average, mounting a TV takes around an hour, but it can take less than 20 minutes in some cases. However, factors such as behind-the-wall wire concealment and mounting on a brick or concrete wall can increase the installation time. It’s best to expect each TV to take around 1 hour as this is the average time.
Typically, the cost of TV installation includes the installation of components such as game consoles, cable boxes, and DVRs, unless there is a special circumstance. Installing devices like Xboxes, Playstations, and DVD players is considered a normal part of TV installation and is included in the cost.
When booking a TV installation, there are 3 main types of mounting brackets to choose from: flat, tilting, and full motion. There are many variables to consider when making this decision, and if you are unsure which bracket to choose, the best course of action is to call us. Our recommendation: Tilting TV brackets are compatible with most TVs and can be used in a variety of settings. They allow tilting the TV up or down for adjusting the viewing angle. For outside-the-wall wire concealment, we use a plastic wire cover to conceal the wires. This method is effective in avoiding large holes in the wall and is recommended when renting your place. The plastic cover can be painted for a nearly invisible installation. You can get a wire concealment kit here.
For inside-the-wall wire concealment, select this option if you’re looking for a clean and floating look for your TV. In this method, we move your electrical outlet behind your TV to conceal the wires and give your TV an upscale look. However, please note that this will add an additional 30 minutes or more to your installation time. We are unable to move outlets over fireplaces. You will need a licensed electrician to accomplish this.

I am new to Houston and needed help installing a 65" TV on a bedroom wall. I started with Best Buy Geeksquad's online tool - I know them simply because its a corporate brand. After the initial pricing, I wanted to see if there was an option that was 1) more affordable and 2) a local/small business. I found Handy Andy via Google search and they had good reviews so I gave it a shot. Installer communicated well about when he was arriving, brought the necessary tools, and mounted the TV without issue. Final price was extremely affordable. I have no qualms in recommending this service.
